Summary

Riverford Dairy comprises a mixed-breed herd and has a gentle, ethical and traditional approach to dairying, taking care of the land and the animals in equal measure. Dairy farms are high consumption businesses and are one of the best farming modalities to pair with solar to offset daily consumption costs. We utilised the available barn roof area to provide just over 30kW of solar modules to the site. This provides around a third of the annual consumption of the dairy.
